Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIB (Trop)
A section of RAF Hawker Hurricane IIBs equipped with Volkes tropical air filters under the nose.
These late 1941 - early 1942 version of the Hurricane were armed with twelve .303 Browning
machine guns and could carry 500lbs of bombs. Suitable for Mediterranean Theatre, Burma,
the last days of Singapore and Java campaigns.

A Section of RAF Hawker Hurricane IIBs equipped with Volkes tropical air filters under the nose.
These late 1940 - early 1942 version of the Hurricane were armed with eight .303 Browning
machine guns. Suitable for Mediterranean Theatre, Malta, Crete, Egyptian and Libyan Campaigns.
Vickers Vildebeest
A section of RAF Vickers Vildebeests. These stately old biplanes were torpedo bombers still
equipping RAF units in Malaya at the time of the Japanese invasion. These ones are wearing
the 'NK' codes of 100 Squadron, RAF, Malaya & Singapore late 1941 - early 1942.
