The Cant Z.501 'Gabbiano' was a long range reconnaissance flying boat serving with the Regia
Marina in the early years of the war.

Cant Z.506


The Cant Z,506 floatplane had a longer range than the Z.501. Used by the Regia Marina for anti-
shipping reconnaissance and air-sea rescue.
